Premier League 2026 Summer Transfer Confirmed Deals: The Big Moves
Let’s start with the headline business. Chelsea have cashed in massively, shipping Marc Cucurella out to Real Madrid for a whopping £51.8m. Furthermore, the Blues have added Geovany Quenda from Sporting CP, Denner from Corinthians, Dastan Satpaev from Kairat Almaty, and Emmanuel Emegha from Strasbourg. That is serious squad overhaul territory. Meanwhile, Liverpool have lost Mohamed Salah on a free, Andrew Robertson has moved to Tottenham on a free transfer, and Ibrahima Konaté and Rhys Williams are both released. To offset some of that pain, the Reds have snapped up Jérémy Jacquet from Rennes for a substantial £55m.
Elsewhere, Manchester United said goodbye to Rasmus Højlund — who heads to Napoli for £43.2m — whilst also releasing Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, and Jadon Sancho. Newcastle have banked £60.5m from Barcelona for Anthony Gordon, a blockbuster sale that will sting the Toon faithful. Kieran Trippier heads to Wolves on a free, and the club have brought in Ewen Jaouen from Stade de Reims. Manchester City, meanwhile, are losing Manuel Akanji to Inter Milan whilst waving goodbye to both Bernardo Silva and John Stones on releases.
Every Club’s Ins and Outs Breakdown
Beyond the marquee moves, there is plenty of activity throughout the division. Arsenal have offloaded Jakub Kiwior to FC Porto and shipped Karl Hein to Werder Bremen, both for undisclosed fees. Ipswich have signed Modou Keba Cisse from LASK whilst losing Donyell Malen to Roma. Bournemouth have seen Hamed Traoré, Luis Sinisterra, and Marcos Senesi all depart — Senesi joining Tottenham on a free — while welcoming Jannik Schuster from RB Salzburg.
Brighton have brought in Costinha from Olympiakos and Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm, though they’ve lost Jeremy Sarmiento to Middlesbrough alongside a string of releases including Solly March, Adam Webster, and the retired James Milner. Everton have added Merlin Röhl from Freiburg, releasing Seamus Coleman after his long service to the club. Fulham have lost Raul Jimenez to Wolves on a free. Ipswich have strengthened with Chuba Akpom from Ajax and Cedric Kipre from Stade de Reims, releasing Ashley Young following his retirement. Leeds have released Ilan Meslier and Sam Byram. Nottingham Forest, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Southampton, and Sunderland have all recorded departures, with Tottenham notably adding Robertson and Senesi as free transfers whilst releasing Yves Bissouma.
