Tim Wallace Returns to Elite League Ice Hockey
Wallace is no stranger to the Elite Ice Hockey League. He first transitioned into coaching during the 2018/19 campaign, taking on a player/coach role with Milton Keynes before eventually stepping up to lead Nottingham Panthers as Head Coach. During his time in Nottingham, he claimed Elite Series glory — a genuine piece of silverware that confirms he knows how to deliver when it matters.
Most recently, Wallace served as Head Coach of Milton Keynes Lightning in the NIHL, again combining duties on and off the ice. His efforts there bore fruit in the 2023/24 season when he guided the Lightning to NIHL Cup success. Impressive numbers on any CV, and Fife will be hoping that trophy-winning instinct travels north with him.

Furthermore, Wallace wasted no time in making clear what drives him. Speaking after the announcement, he said the club’s ambition — not just the job title — is what convinced him to sign on. “This is a club with a proud history, a passionate fanbase, and huge potential,” he said. “I’m here for what we can build. That’s the only reason that mattered to me.”

Wallace spoke of establishing the right culture from day one, placing the responsibility firmly on himself as head coach to set the standard. “Hard work, honesty, and the right culture every day — and the standard for all of it starts with the coach,” he added.
