Renan Ferreira just smashed his way into a dream fight with Francis Ngannou. In a stunning 21-second knockout, Ferreira flattened Ryan Bader, the Bellator heavyweight champ, at PFL vs. Bellator. Ferreira was the standout winner, being the only PFL fighter to triumph in his bout.
Post-fight, Ferreira grabbed the mic and called out Ngannou, who was watching cage-side. “I am the real problem,” he declared. “Francis, where you at? I’m ready for MMA or boxing.”
What a clash it would be if it happens! Both these lads pack a mean punch, each with over 10 knockouts to their name. It’s a classic case of who hits first.
Some might overlook Ferreira, but that’s a mistake. He’s got heart, and Ngannou, despite his legacy, might be losing his edge.
Ferreira’s just kicking off his legacy, while Ngannou’s already cemented his. Sure, Ngannou might be the bookies’ favorite, but don’t write Ferreira off just yet.
